Research Interest:
I am interested in exploring the epigenetic changes in adult-onset neurodegenerative disorders, with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease (AD). DNA damage is a common phenomenon in aged-related neurogenerative diseases. My research aims to characterize and understand the impact of DNA double strand break-induced epigenetic modifications in adult-onset neurodegenerative diseases to identify factors that have the potential to arrest neuronal degeneration and reverse damage, rejuvenating the cognitive state.
