Elena Carranco is a clinical research coordinator who works on Dr. Pellecchia’s community-based research projects, evaluating the effectiveness of a parent-mediated intervention for toddlers with autism spectrum disorder within Philadelphia’s early intervention system. She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Computer Science in 2017. Elena previously worked as a clinical research coordinator in the Urologic Oncology field in Washington, D.C. She is passionate about clinical research that aims to help minorities and underserved populations. During her free time, Elena enjoys hiking, backpacking, and photography.
