Kimberly T. Arnold is a T32 NIMH Postdoctoral Fellow in mental health, implementation science, and academic-community partnerships at the Penn Center for Mental Health. Kimberly received her BA in Biology with minors in African American Studies and Health from the College of Charleston in 2012 and MPH from the Dornsife School of Public Health and Human Rights at Drexel University in 2014. During her master’s program, Kimberly was a trainee in the NIMHD-funded Opening Doors Health Disparities Research Training Program. Between 2014-2015 Kimberly worked as the Project Coordinator of a CDC-funded dissemination and implementation trial at the University of South Carolina Prevention Research Center. In 2019, Kimberly received her PhD in Health Policy and Management with a concentration in Health and Public Policy and a certificate in Community-Based Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. From 2017-2019, Kimberly was a Predoctoral Fellow in the Implementation Science Track of the NIMH Mental Health Services and Systems Training Program in the Center for Mental Health and Addiction Policy Research. Her doctoral research examined factors that influenced the adoption and sustainability of a trauma-informed universal mental health intervention in 20 Baltimore City public schools. Kimberly is interested in mental health interventions and policies; the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practices in schools, churches and other community settings (especially those that are underserved); and addressing health disparities through multisectoral collaboration.
