Temma Schaechter
Clinical Research Coordinator

Temma Schaechter is a clinical research coordinator for Project ACTIVE, led by Dr. Emily Becker-Haimes, which aims to understand the factors that affect therapist use of evidence-based techniques with clients. Temma graduated from Brown University with Honors in Psychology and Music in 2021, where she was a research assistant studying preferences for and perceptions of group inequality. During her time at Brown, she also conducted clinical research at the Bradley-Hasbro Children’s Research Center, studying teenagers in the juvenile justice system at risk for psychosis spectrum disorders. Temma is passionate about using the arts for healing, resilience, and social justice. Outside of research, she writes folk music and creative nonfiction, performs in musical theatre, and loves anything related to food.
