Jessica Fishman, PhD
Principal Investigator

Jessica Fishman, PhD, is a behavioral scientist with a joint appointment at the Perelman School of Medicine and the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania. In past and ongoing collaborations, and as Co-Director of the Outcomes Measurement and Methods Core within the NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Award, Dr. Fishman has worked with interdisciplinary research teams across six schools of the University of Pennsylvania. To increase the use of evidence-based practices by providers and patients, she studies decision making and behavior change in the context of implementation science and related fields. Using validated causal models, she applies qualitative and quantitative methods from social psychology to identify the modifiable, multi-level factors that best predict outcomes. Dr. Fishman received degrees from Stanford University (with University Honors and Departmental Distinction) and the University of Pennsylvania.
