Kristen Campbell is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator supporting the Whole Health Study, which focuses on the treatment of opioid use disorder and psychiatric disorders in the primary care setting; the study is led by Dr. David Mandell, Dr. Hillary Bogner, and Dr. Kyle Kampman. Kristen completed a bachelors in mathematics at Duke University and a Masters of Public Health at UC Berkeley. Before joining the Center, she worked as a Health Program Specialist for a NGO in the Southern Philippines that focuses on empowering indigenous communities through health, education, and community development. Kristen has also held a variety of other roles in the private, nonprofit, and government sectors. She is passionate about addressing the social determinants of health at a systems level and eliminating disparities in mental health and addiction.
