Samantha Crabbe is a clinical research coordinator working under Dr. Mandell’s Autism Intervention Research-Behavioral 3 grant, which uses community based participatory research to improve access to services for underserved populations. Sam coordinates operations for the Mind the Gap project and builds and maintains community partnerships to support recruitment and target underrepresented populations in autism research. Her interests include parent engagement in their children’s services.
Prior to coming to the center she received her Masters in School and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and worked in obesity research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition to her duties at Penn, she is also an outpatient therapist for children and adolescents at a community mental health clinic in the city.
