Zuleyha Cidav, PhD
Research Assistant Professor

Dr. Cidav is a health economist and a health services researcher studying efficacy, effectiveness, and efficiency in healthcare. Her main interest is in economic evaluation of health services, policy and practice. She conducts cost, cost effectiveness, budget impact, and return on investment analyses. As a health services researcher, she studies service organization and delivery, quality of care, patient access, service use, and outcomes. She has extensive experience with observational, experimental, and quasi-experimental data analyses. Much of her work involves use of survey data, healthcare claims, and clinical data to examine health service use and expenditures of health service consumers, and service needs and experiences of their families. She is a co-investigator in numerous research grants from NIH and other research foundations.
