Outreach

At the Penn Epigenetics Institute, we want to share our love and knowledge of epigenetics with everyone! Our outreach goal is to provide the broader Philadelphia community with fun and interactive education about epigenetics, with a focus on translating the science to a variety of audiences.

Trainees and faculty alike have the ability to participate in several opportunities, which are often in collaboration with other organizations. Activities can include volunteering with the annual Philadelphia Science Festival or participating in some of the great programs sponsored by our neighbors at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine, including the Penn Academy for Reproductive Sciences (PARS).

Although we aren’t able to provide in-person outreach experiences right now, you can still engage with our community!

Want to get involved? We are always looking for volunteers to provide virtual discussions; mentor students; and help develop new and engaging experiences for our community. To start, complete the volunteer registration form here and our team will contact you.
