Postdoctoral Researcher – Black Lab

A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Ben Black (http://hosting.med.upenn.edu/blacklab/) within the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics and the Epigenetics Program of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The lab consists of a team of cross-disciplinary and interactive scientists answering pressing questions in chromosome biology. The work has implications for cancer, human reproduction, synthetic biology, speciation mechanisms in mammals, and understanding fundamental epigenetic processes at the molecular level. We are very active in scientific interactions across several departments, programs, and schools here at UPenn. We are also co-founders of the multi-lab group meetings of the Philly Chromosome Club and the UPenn Chromatin Biochemistry Group.
Highly motivated applicants with relevant scientific background are encouraged to apply. Please send a CV and a statement of research interests to: blackbe@pennmedicine.upenn.edu
