Min Jang, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His overarching research goal is to explore the determinants of health and socioeconomic outcomes and solve the puzzles of the recent increase in health and socioeconomic disparities in the U.S. Currently, he focuses on the following factors: public health insurance, medical care, physicians’ prescribing behaviors, adolescent health, and economic shocks. He received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University at Albany SUNY.
