At the Penn Epigenetics Institute, we want to share our love and knowledge of epigenetics with everyone! Our outreach goal is to provide the broader Philadelphia community with fun and interactive education about epigenetics, with a focus on translating the science to a variety of audiences.
Trainees and faculty alike have the ability to participate in several opportunities, which are often in collaboration with other organizations. Activities can include volunteering with the annual Philadelphia Science Festival or participating in some of the great programs sponsored by Penn Medicine’s Office of Outreach, Education, & Research and our neighbors at the Institute of Regenerative Medicine, including the Penn Academy for Reproductive Sciences (PARS).
Want to get involved? We are always looking for volunteers to provide virtual discussions; mentor students; and help develop new and engaging experiences for our community. To start, review the volunteer information on the Office of Outreach, Education, and Research’s website, and contact Jackie Davidson for more information.
